Bring back Free Moms Dogs
Bring back Free Moms Dogs
The Issue
NC State has banned Free Moms dogs for this school year. They said due to a “study” on dogs well being there can only be one dog a week and it must be therapy certified. Dog well being is important of course however these owners know what their dog can and can not handle. They would not bring a dog that would suffer from interaction with students. A lot of dogs love the Interaction as much as the students do. College students suffer so much from mental health struggles and depression and Free Moms has been a huge positive impact on students mental well being. It has also allowed parents of students to trust their students are in good hands. NC State is hurting its own students wellbeing by doing this and we should not accept this from our school. There is no reason they should be coming after a group that has impacted the students so positively. Sign the petition to bring the dogs back to free moms and hold NC State accountable for this.
