As local riders, workers, and lovers of this mountain, we write with deep concern about the ongoing removal of terrain park features at Falls Creek.

This resort once stood as a proud leader in Australian freestyle culture—a home for creativity, progression, and community. Falls Park was not just a collection of jumps and rails. It was a space where people came together, pushed each other, and fell in love with the mountain in their own way.

Over the past few seasons, we've watched this part of the resort quietly disappear. The absence of a proper terrain park has left a huge gap—not just in our riding, but in the spirit and identity of Falls Creek.

We understand there are challenges in maintaining park infrastructure. But we believe there's a strong, passionate community willing to support, promote, and even help where needed. Freestyle is not a niche—it's the future of snow sports, and Falls Creek has the history, terrain, and soul to lead it.

We are asking:

That you reconsider the long-term plan for freestyle terrain at Falls Creek.
That you engage with the local riding community to develop a sustainable path forward for park features.
That you allow Falls Creek to once again be a place where all forms of riding are supported.
