Bring back Erin O'Malley, the Heart of Boston’s Mix 104.1

The Issue

Erin O'Malley has been a true beacon of light for so many of us who tune into the radio. Her unwavering optimism, warmth, and incredible resilience as a cancer survivor and two time Boston Marathon runner, have touched countless hearts, bringing brightness to our toughest days with her vibrant spirit. I always knew that on my roughest days, I could turn on the radio and find comfort in her soothing voice. Each morning, Erin’s words filled us with peace and joy; she was the friend who reminded us that even in our darkest moments, brighter days are ahead. Her positivity wasn’t just part of her job; it was a reflection of her remarkable strength and the love she shares with the world.

Recently, Erin was let go due to budget cuts, leaving many of us heartbroken at the thought of facing our days without her comforting presence on the airwaves. Yet, we hold onto the belief that Erin can continue to rekindle hope through her words, and she truly deserves to be back on air, reaching out and uplifting lives with her positivity.

A radio station is so much more than just the music it plays; it’s about the people who got us through some of the toughest battles of our life and I knew I could turn on Erin and that she would put a smile on my face no matter what was going on in the world. Erin O'Malley is an irreplaceable voice and we desperately want to bring back.

I urge management to reconsider their decision. Please recognize the profound impact Erin has on our community, an impact that goes far beyond numbers and budgets. She is a fighter, a source of so much optimism, and a beautiful soul whose voice deserves to fill the airwaves once more. Join us in signing this petition to show your support for Erin O'Malley. Let’s bring her back and allow her to continue being the heart of Mix 104.1
