Bring back duos game mode permanently in battlefield 6 redsec
The Issue
I remember the excitement I felt, along with my friend, when we decided to purchase Battlefield 6: Redsec. We each spent 60 euros—a considerable amount for a game—but it was a worthy investment because of one feature we were both eagerly looking forward to: the duos game mode. It was the perfect opportunity for the two of us to team up, strategize personally, and enjoy countless hours of cooperative gameplay.
However, our excitement quickly turned to disappointment, the duos game mode was suddenly removed. The game developers, EA and DICE, implemented a bi-weekly switching schedule which limits our access to the duos mode to once in every two weeks. The design choice to have rotating modes instead of keeping fan favorites constant disregards the community's cries for a consistent gaming experience.
Battlefield 6: Redsec's marketing and promotion were heavily centered on its unique multiplayer features, including duos. This was a key feature that influenced our decision to purchase the game. Limiting access to this gaming mode feels unfair and diminishes the value we believed we were getting.
Moreover, duos mode offers a unique experience different from solo or larger group modes. It requires and enhances specific skills like teamwork, tactical communication specifically between two players, and builds a closer bond between friends. Many players like myself seek this specific experience and removing it on a bi-weekly basis interrupts our gaming rhythm and long-term enjoyment.
We understand EA and DICE may have their reasons for this schedule, but we urge them to reconsider their decision. Numerous gamers have expressed their love for duos mode, and its constant availability could encourage more purchases, larger player bases, and a heightened sense of loyalty from the community.
Please support this petition by signing it, to let EA and DICE know that their loyal players want the duos game mode to remain a permanent feature in Battlefield 6: Redsec. Together, we can ensure that our gaming experience stays enjoyable and consistent.
