The ability to document patient records swiftly and precisely is not just a technical necessity—it’s a cornerstone of providing high-quality patient care.

Historically, our hospital relied on Dragon Dictation, a trusted and effective industry-standard tool used by 99% of hospitals nationwide. However, in 2024, the hospital transitioned to 3M M*Modal dictation, a system that has proven to be significantly inferior in both reliability and performance.

Since the implementation of M*Modal, countless technical glitches and accuracy issues have disrupted our workflow, drastically affecting efficiency and the quality of our documentation. Logging into the system has become cumbersome, and switching between dictation stations often renders the service unusable due to login failures. These persistent issues have significantly slowed down our work.

Physicians across the board have expressed dissatisfaction with the new system, citing frequent mistakes and inaccuracies that exacerbate an already high-stress work environment.
