In the Summer of 2024 (Later known as BRAT Summer), Charli xcx updated all of her album art on streaming services to match the style of her upcoming BRAT album. These covers are very simplistic, literally just containing the name of the album in narrow Arial font on top of a solid color background. 

While this was absolutely a clever and effective marketing technique at the time, many fans feel that these covers have overstayed their welcomes. Charli herself has declared the end of BRAT summer twice: once via social media in September 2024, and again at Coachella 2025. Yet, the Bratified album covers remain.

Each of Charli's albums deserves to be their own individual piece of art, and that includes the art on the cover of the album. It's time to take those older works out of the shadow of BRAT.
