In 2003, Powerade launched a flavor to promote the film The Matrix Reloaded, and it was a huge success. Once the promotion was over, however, the product was (of course) discontinued. But consumers demanded to bring back the Powerade flavor, and it later became black cherry lime. But eventually, black cherry lime Powerade, just like its predecessor, was discontinued.

We have previously seen Coca-Cola products been brought back due to customer demand, such as Surge albeit only being available online. If it’s been done before, we can do it again!
