For years, running at the Bear Mountain Invitational has been a proud tradition for our cross country team. Under Coach Pekor, this meet was more than just another race—it was an opportunity to challenge ourselves on one of the most iconic and demanding courses in New York, build team camaraderie, and create lasting memories.

This season, Coach Geschwind decided not to register our team for Bear Mountain, ending a tradition that many current and former athletes value. We understand that coaches have many factors to consider when planning a schedule, but we believe Bear Mountain is an important part of our team’s identity and deserves to remain on our calendar.
