Good morning everyone. This mornings task I assigned for my first piece of work, was adding the very last photo ever of my Dad in his lifetime cut short. You can see his final photo on the Memorial, Validity, Values, Movement and Get Involved tabs of my website.

This picture was taken at a commitment he had the day before he left us. One of my last text message from my Dad was him telling me he was going to come see my babies & I again a couple of days after that commitment as I had an organised playdate the following day. Obviously, Dad & our catch up never happened. I used to tell my Dad to take it one day at a time. Tragically he had a very bad morning his last day.

Though only days before his leaving us, he was looking to the future. As you can see people smile through their struggles, and my Dad is a sad example that you never know what someone in the community is going through despite their outer friendly appearance. It costs nothing to be kind. As the saying goes "I expect to pass through life but once. If, therefore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do to any fellow being, let me do it now, for I shall not pass this way again."
