UPDATE:- My mission which I was aiming for will be PARTIALLY implemented later this year which is 3/4 of a Victory! Medicare item numbers will no longer falling in line with the 7 year outdated 2016 clinical guidelines for PSA testing. Welcomed, the National Health & Research Council will be implementing later in 2025;

Interested men aged 40 will be offered an early baseline PSA test. Gp's will be recommended to initiate conversations about PSA testing and offer two-yearly testing to all men aged 50–69. A reversal stance against testing men over 70, recommending testing based on clinical assessment. Reinforcement that digital rectal examinations are no longer recommended in primary care, removing a major barrier to testing for many men.

HOWEVER,  the issue still remains;
* PSA testing needs to be available as an ANNUAL CONTINUUM option for 'low risk' men from 40 years old. Prostate Cancer is known to spread rapidly during each year in between. PreVENTION

* Funding is needed for PSA testing campaigns to emphasise awareness, early detection and prevention. Instead of just treatment Post Prostate Cancer.
