Inclusivity is Apart of My Movement+Military And Militias See The White Light Harm
It sounds like a fantasy. But here's the truth that my movement proves it has gained a lot of traction! Service Members and Armed forces have also joined in on the movement and believe it or not? It makes this whole entire movement sound like a fortified front that is unbreakable! Why do these people play a role in My movement and what makes their role highly important to the future of city lighting?
First, we have to start with more scientific backing as to why these communities have joined in on the movement and then I can point out a few airbases that utilitizes large sections of Amber Lighting for their training. They do nighttime training as well nighttime preemptive training strikes and much more these communities rely on. Let's first start out with their NODS or Night Vision Goggles. These are both thermal and night vision based goggles that allow them to spot important details or enemy based movement. From the thermaling imagery and long distance views to spotting movement that is not visible from the naked eye. These are highly important equipment for these communities, and it plays one of the biggest roles while not getting spotted. But here's a truth that these Goggles can suffer from. Super High Light pollution and Heated thermaling from high streetlight temperatures that act like BLINDING SUNS to their eyes. This especially can make their training efforts fail because the lighting of white/warm white LEDs tend to create this OVERSHADOWING GLARE on their NODS. So, this is why they need warmer lighting and Amber Lighting to prevent their training from faltering at bright lights with higher color temperatures.
Other equipment that heavily relies on darker skies are Night Vision Censoring, Lazer Detection, Surveillance (For their base) with night vision and thermaling imagery to maintain detection when detected. This allows their ability to keep hidden during their training (or real fight incase...) and camouflaged while being able to capture the target without being exposed. This is highly important and it takes Team Amber to a whole new level of how massive it is and the sheer scale it continues to grow when those who support white/warm white LEDs. Because, I will admit, I have been getting some heat from those who find that 2700K-3000K LEDs aren't "harmful". But that's just it; they are. It has been proven and continues to grow amongst many residents, communities and so much more that 2200K (with 2500K being the MAX at best) for our future of lighting. Also, Militias are another group of decentralized militaries that support my movement. Because they too, require night sky and the ability to see when it's hard to see at night. This takes a dual sword of Service Members and Decentralized Militias in combination to help remind our city leaders that "flashier and louder" isn't "better". (You maybe wonder why I put in quotes. It's a combination of mocking resistive leaders and a way to bolden quotations from leaders generically. Because they have a knack for quotes)
So, the question still lies; Are they using Amber Streetlights and prove it? Alrighty!
The Airforce Base of Albuquerque New Mexico. 2 of their gates that I have driven past on Gibson Blvd has Amber High Pressure Sodium Lights on the other side of their gates. Owned by their own infrastructure companies. The same thing at Area 51. They don't use a WHOLE LOT of white LED streetlights. They have a combination of Amber, Warm Blue (Metal Halide) and White LEDs near and around their perimeter locations. (Just using ONE GREAT EXAMPLE of many). Another Airbase in Roswell New Mexico uses a large portion of Amber High pressure sodium lights in their training grounds. The list can just keep going...But the point is, these bases HEAVILY RELY on dark skies for their training. But being next to a city that uses bright white/warm white LED streetlights makes it hard for them to train or training flights. And it can show disrespect to our Service Members for their risks they go through for the rest of us. This is why these communities use Amber Streetlights. Because when the glare becomes the black void in training; it becomes a disturbance for their training.
Crossroad's LED Astrophile Series, Access Fixtures 2200K Streetlighting Catalog and for my city PNM RETROFIT REBATE PROGRAM for the Reintroduction of High-Pressure Sodium Lights or simply using the Amber LEDS that I have been advocating for for the last decade. My Campaign or movement may have not been here at the time, but the first moment I saw these white LEDs, I immediately was fighting hard to put a stop to the installation. I didn't succeed alone, but with Team Amber and its growing momentum? We will get our victory to have our cities glowing golden honey again and say goodbye to the WHITE LED TERROR of the 2010s!
As for everyone who continues to sign, support and just simply gives this campaign a lift, Thank You all! Every signature, voice and presence is heard! Amber is more than just a warm soft color, it's a color that holds the rainbow inside it. It's the color that says "I am fire, I am warmth. I am unity and harmonization. I am the light that fills the darkness and the bridge that fills the gaps!" Love you Team Amber! Let's keep up the great work! Because when that night comes when our cities are warmer and glowing honey glows again, we will be parading down the street (with me leading!), fireworks and music and a festive celebration! It's still down the road. But the more we speak up, the more we grow, the louder we become, the harder it is for our leaders to keep ignoring us.
