After a tragic kitchen fire forced Bob's Barksdale to close down, the southern style diner reopened with a new name, "Barksdale's," and with new ownership. The new owners promised to keep things the same, but All-Day Everyday Breakfast is gone. During the week, breakfast food is only served up until 10:30/10:45am (except for the weekends, which is when breakfast is actually served all-day). This goes against the very core of Bob's Barksdale. A diner in the south serves breakfast past the morning hours to accommodate all walks of life not only on the weekends, but during the work week.
