If the Days of our Lives set was notoriously toxic due to the behavior of their Co-Executive Producer/Director then why did it have to be Arianne that sacrificed herself? Why didn’t Ken Corday step in? You have actresses leaving due to the environment, actresses being laid off more than their male counterparts and Ken Corday making PR appearances at the Studio but not really taking an active part.

So 7 people left the cast in March 2023 and Arianne was basically one of the last leading ladies left.. She visited Ken Corday and he sent her to someone else who then sent her to Sony HR.  Visiting HR is her protected right.

Yet according to Ari this only escalated Albert Alaar’s behavior and it also resulted in her being written out of the show along with her new onscreen daughter and the actor playing the daughters boyfriend.
Ari wasn’t told when she would be coming back and hers was a front burner storyline that should’ve been featured during February Sweeps and yet it was pulled and the viewer was left wondering why??

Did Alaar and Corday care about their actresses or did they have a take it or leave it attitude with them? Did they tell them they were replaceable? Did they listen to what their concerns were? Did they realize their worth?
Did they foresee a lawsuit? Or did they think since they had all the power that that wouldn’t happen?
It’s disgusting that women were being harassed and demeaned on a regular basis. That they were fearful of speaking up and losing their job. That their roles were diminished and their characters were more damsel in distress than strong.
A show written for a mostly female audience being produced by “powerful” men who don’t seem to value women.
Once Ari’s last airdate is here let’s show them that we do. We want our actresses back and for them to settle this lawsuit. Or the next drama may just be in a court of law.
