It’s true especially for an actor. This situation was allegedly going on for years and people just had to deal with it.
Their co-exec producer/director allegedly made inappropriate comments followed by saying something like what would HR think of what he’s saying.
it’s not ok to make inappropriate comments even jokingly.. It’s not ok to inappropriately touch someone, it’s not ok to retaliate against someone who has filed a complaint against you with HR..
And yet it allegedly happened for years, actors felt harassed and violated and Corday productions was ok with continuing to employ this person and make them attend sensitivity training which was virtual and he was attending it on both the cast and crew side.
While this was all happening did they try anything to stop it over the years? Team building activities? Warnings for inappropriate behavior?
Did they notice a problem with female cast members not wanting to work full time? Being targeted, harassed? Leaving the show? Did any of what was going on point to a toxic workplace?
Why did it take a petition signed by female cast and crew to get their point across that they were uncomfortable working with this man?
Once he was let go due to the publicity what changes took place to ensure a better work environment? And why on Earth wouldn’t they realize that an impending lawsuit was a possibility?
In a month Ari’s last airdate will be here. Please let me know if you will stand with Ari. Stand with women everywhere that have endured or are currently experiencing a toxic workplace. Stand with us and make July 29th our last airdate too.
They don’t appear to care about anything unless it’s public.. And the end of July 2023 is when the news of all of this broke. Let’s bring them full karmic circle ⭕️
We stand with Ari
