Hockey and Figure Skating are great sports. It teaches hard work and dedication that will create champions and great adults. The problem is there is a lack of access to the sports because there is no ice and minimum programing for the sports. We want all kids to have the opportunity to lace up their skates regardless of income, race, social class or financial ability. This petition will help us get an ice rink built in the inner city to expose children to ice sports and to create unconventional jobs in the community. We have coaches, parents and community organizations prepared to  help create programming and to provide equipment or other resources to help support the community and the ice rink.
