Thank you again full your amazing support. I have been going through the signatures and it has been a very moving experience seeing thousands of signatures from Brighton and Hove of course, then thousands more from Londoners, then right across the UK from Harrogate to the Isle of Harris. There has been amazing international support as well: Kabul, Kentucky, Amsterdam, Madrid, Moscow and the Ukraine (signed just before the terrible war started). We are getting ready to present the petition to full council on April 7th, so do email your local councillor if you get the chance. In the meantime there is something else you can do to help Save Our Starlings across the entire UK. The Pesticide Action Network and RSPB have just produced an excellent report about pesticides, farming and the familiar Red Tractor label you get on foods. Loads of farmers want to transition to nature friendly methods, and they really need better support from Red Tractor. The Pesticides Action Network have an excellent website and a link to e-mail the CEO at Red Tractor. https://pan-uk.eaction.org.uk/red-tractor-consumers HUGE thanks for your help, and keep buying the T-shirts from Saveourstarlings.teemill.com - we have almost enough to make the next batch of 100 starling nest boxes. The first 100 have been deployed!
