The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has made it clear that caffeine is not in violation of the Word of Wisdom. By allowing students to purchase caffeinated beverages on campus, students will have a much larger selection of beverages that will allow them a little "pick-me-up" if needed. Speaking of why these drinks aren't sold on campus, BYU Spokeswoman Carri Jenkins stated, ”This decision has been based on what our customers want, and there has not been a demand for caffeinated beverages.” This statement is no longer relevant.
