As residents of Bridgeyard Apartments we no longer feel secure. There have been numerous break-ins to cars in the parking lots and the other night a truck in the back lot by the pool had all four tires stolen and was left up on cinder blocks. Every single break-in and theft has occurred in an unlit location of our parking lots. These issues continuously threaten the safety and security of Bridgeyard tenants and their friends and family who are expected to park in the unlit visitor spots. We are reasonably asking Bridgeyard management to install CCTV security cameras (covering at least the back lots) to deter thieves and other criminals who would prey upon the residents of our community. In addition, we are asking Bridgeyard management to install sufficient lighting to illuminate the poorly-lit lots for the safety, security and peace of mind of the Bridgeyard community.
