i worked but , i didn't work. enough to collect social security . i have been married to my husband over 44 years and we have been to gether this coming july 45 years . i collect social security from his social security . i was a stay at home mom and i took care of mu husband and raised our five children . it would of cost more than i would of made plus part of my husbands pay check to pay for a babysitter . i dropped out of school in the 9th grade but i did go back and get my Ged a few years  or so later so i'm not real smart my husband found out in 2018 that he has cancer .he has no 401k and no other retirement money coming in we live soly on social security . a couple of years ago the doctor said my husband has a mild case of dementia i don't know if he does or not .he has filed for a divorce . because he got involved with a scammer.i get only $860.00 a month from his social security .he gets $2,619.00 a month he has only given me any money until march of 2025  $200.00 out of his social security since he filed for a divorce last October . we need this money to survive i need more money  he gave me that $200.00 plus $200.00 he got from selling a little trailer to buy some groceries for us . but that is all he has given me since October my $860.00 a month i get just pays the car payment and the credit card i use to paid the attorney.it leaves me with no money for anything else . no rent , food , car insurance registration nothing . $860.00 don't go very far at all . i don't understand why i can't get the same amount  as my husband i know he worked for it . but so did i inside the home taking cre of my husband and five children and i took very good care of all of them , i had to get because my husband wants a divorce . i do not .want a divorce . i have given my husband way over half my life . i will be 70 in August he will be 71 in July i want to stay with him but i need to get him away from the scammer . he never used to act the way he does now ..he was always loving and very caring but he changed after our youngest son was killed and after he started talking to the scammer . i love my husband with all my heart . you  din't stay with some one over half you life and not love them . our vowels said to death do us part . and that is what i want . so please don't do away with social security . please fix social security and medicare medicare has gotten so expensive even with our advantage plan the out of pocket is crazy . i don't know how they expect us elderly to come up with all that money we can't use the ER thats over $300.00 i think , the ground ambulance is way over $300.00 the air ambulance is way over $600.00  and some doctor offices told me my insurance is welfare . they don't want to help me .i'm Paying $185.00 a month for medicare it is not welfare . but the people living on welfare they get all their medical needs including medicine for free . us elderly don't why ? any ways please don't take our social security and medicare away . please help us get more money please i really need more than $860.00 a month to live on . thank you so much for listening and letting me vent i don't know why we have to pay for medicare if people on welfare gets it all for free and us elderly still have to pay for it . sorry i just needed to add that . thank you President Trump
