Sprint Waste Services has placed a permit to process sludge, which is comprised of toxic human waste and fecal matter from medical facilities in the surrounding Houston area. These are not a byproduct of the Aliana residences. Toxic substances are defined by the Federal Government in "that they have immediate or long term harmful effects on the environment or on biological diversity; that they constitute or may constitute a danger to the environment on which life depends; and, that they constitute or may constitute a danger to human life or health."  

With this dumping ground in such close proximity of our community, it is inevitable that we will catch the repulsive fumes and odors of this facility. It is of great concern that waste pollutants are being collected at a plant near a residential area wherein hundreds of thousands of unknown toxic particles may inadvertently impact human, animal, and environmental life in a negative way. There is a major hazard and an unacceptable risk posed on the health of our families, friends, and pets in the very place we call home.
