For far too many years Donkeys have been used as a form of amusement in summer months on Coney Beach. Whilst you may think it would be a fun activity for your child to partake in, it’s also compromising the poor animals health. The donkey’s, pony’s and often horses are left all day with minimal shelter and water on the hot sand, temperatures reached 30° plus this past week which is too hot for animals with suitable shelter and copious amounts of water, let alone an animal left ALL day without these necessities. It deeply saddens me every time i see them, if you aren’t going to look after your animals correctly then don’t have any at all. Please, if you care for these poor animals sign this petition to hopefully stop this animal cruelty, now and for the future.
