Responsible Development at 5300 Belmont is needed! Refuse to allow a 24/7 business
The Issue
Bridge Development Partners LLC bought the industrial property at 5300 Belmont. Their proposed plans are the same as the Amazon building already in Downers Grove on Finley. The developers proposed plan has an entrance on a weight restricted residential street, Inverness Ave. and they ripped out the natural air filter and privacy line of trees and shrubs. They are also building on top of contaminated soil and water. We need to make sure they have an environmental consultant on site to make sure all contaminates are removed properly. We want Bridge to pay for the five homes to be hooked to village sewer, to repave Inverness Ave, the entrance to building to be on Belmont not Inverness, the privacy tree/shrub line to be replanted with indigenous plants and for the building to not be bought by a company that runs 24 hours a day everyday of the week.
