A HUGE Thank You you to everyone who is supporting this petition! Please continue to share with friends and neighbors to make our voices heard!!

Brickell, a bustling neighborhood with a growing number of residents who own dogs, is in need of an official dog park(s). With most residents living in high-rise condos, there are limited options for dogs to play, exercise, and relieve themselves. While Brickell is becoming more dog-friendly, it is still missing one important component: designated dog parks where dogs can play, exercise, and socialize safely.

As a community that values our furry friends and considers them to be a vital part of our daily lives, we are requesting your support to sign our petition. By doing so, we can raise awareness of this need in our community and work towards creating a safe and enjoyable space111º for dogs in Brickell.

Here are five reasons why Brickell would greatly benefit from having official dog parks:

1. Reduce pet-related issues: With a designated dog park, there would be a decrease in dog waste in public areas, making Brickell a cleaner and more enjoyable place to live.

2. Improve public safety: By providing a space for dogs to play off-leash, we can reduce the risk of dogs getting hit by cars and causing traffic accidents.

3. Improve the health and happiness of dogs in Brickell: A dog park can be a great place for dogs to exercise and maintain a healthy weight. Regular exercise can also help prevent health problems such as obesity, heart disease, and diabetes.

4. Encourage socialization: Just like humans, dogs are social animals and need interaction with other dogs to improve their social skills and behavior. A dog park would provide a safer and more controlled environment for dogs to socialize and play with other dogs.

5. Bring the community together: A dog park would be a great place for dog owners to meet and socialize with each other, fostering a sense of community and belonging in Brickell.

In conclusion, we urge you to support our efforts to create an official dog park in Brickell by signing this petition and contacting County Mayor Levine Cava, City Mayor Francis Suarez, District Commissioners Sabina Covo and Joe Carollo, City Parks Director Chris Evans; and any benefactors who can help fix the current situation. By doing so, we can improve the quality of life for dogs and their owners, reduce pet-related issues, improve public safety, and strengthen our community.
