A large number of parents would like 5 days a week, full day, in person instruction for our children in Brick, New Jersey. There is no denying that the teachers are doing an amazing job with virtual learning. However, the lack of in person instruction is having a negative effect on our children emotionally, socially and academically. Studies have shown that test scores for children learning virtually or in a hybrid model are much lower than in previous years when in person instruction was occurring. While many other districts in the state run a full time schedule and maintain a healthy educational pace, the children in the Brick Public Schools fall further behind every week.
