I recently moved to Macon, Georgia and since the move I have noticed alot that needs to be changed in this city. The city, unfortunately, has a bad rap because of the way the community mistreats it. For instance, the trash all over the city is disturbing. It seems that there is a lack of care for the place that represents macon residents. Not just from the residents alone, buy you can drive up and down the major highways and not only is there trash and furniture and everything all over, the area is just unkempt. The grass and trees are over grown, Broken branches in the streets. It's sad to see how this once beautiful city has been trashed. I want to start a city wide "HOA" of some sort to allow for the city to come together and make macon beautiful again. This fee will be charged yearly along with your taxes. It will allow for yard upkeep as well as trash clean up. I think this will not only allow for people to begin to take pride in their city again, but it can also create jobs for young people and help keep them out of trouble. This would mean a city for tourists that would generate revenue for the city to allow more amazing things for the city.
