On July 27th 2021, CDC urging Americans, fully vaccinated or not, to mask up in public indoor spaces. The number of Coronavirus cases are rising rapidly in Georgia and other parts of the country. Furthermore, according to the Washington Post "while the authorized coronavirus vaccines remain highly effective at preventing severe disease, hospitalizations and death from the delta variant, data suggeststhat fully vaccinated people with breakthrough infections — which are still considered rare — can spread the virus."

The delta variant of the coronavirus appears to cause more severe illness than earlier variants and spreads as easily as chickenpox, according to an internal federal health document that argues officials must “acknowledge the war has changed.”

As we should respect the individual freedom and rights, we should understand that we don't have the right to put other people lives in danger. Vaccnes are not 100% effective and CDC recommendation aims at saving people lives. 

Governor Kemp should make wearing masks mandatory in indoor classrooms to comply with CDC recommendations.
