ABOLISH THE TAMPON TAX IN GEORGIA

The Issue

Georgia categorizes menstrual products as "luxury items", taxing these ESSENTIAL health products. Access to sanitary products should NOT depend on one's financial stability. Georgia needs to help its low-income communities and ensure that they all have easy access to these products.

Women and other menstruators (transgender men, non-binary) get their period every month. Period products are NOT a luxury. They are ESSENTIAL.
