There is only one #12 who can rebuild the Calgary Flames, and his name is Håkan Loob.

Player, coach, GM, Triple Gold member, first Swede to score 50 goals in a season, Twitter star, and all around great guy.  His career as a GM/Executive in Sweden's Top League speaks for itself.  If you melted down his trophy room, you could cast a life size statue and still have material left over.

Loob's ties to the Calgary Flames make him a natural addition.  Remember when we won the Stanley Cup?  We do.  Besides the skills he would bring to management, jersey sales, alumni activity, and community involvement are all set to benefit from Loob's steady oversight.

Added bonus:  Even with the ring over the "a", his name is still easier to spell than "Nieuwendyk".  Extra-added bonus:  He's not Joe Nieuwendyk.

So c'mon Burkie, do the right thing... give Loob the job.
