Save Wookie from Wrongful Euthanasia

Save Wookie from Wrongful Euthanasia
The Issue
Wookie is scheduled to be euthanized. The Executive Director, Lacie Davis, of the SPCA in Titusville, Florida made her decision based on how he played with a toy. She stated he "brutally shook a stuffed toy" and made her "nervous" in his assessment. In a previous promotional adoption video he excitedly played with a similar toy and was praised; now he is being euthanized for the same behavior. The decision was based solely off of what she thinks he could be capable of, not anything he has done. Lacie Davis has been employed at the SPCA for 4 months and has only interacted with Wookie a handful of times.
Wookie arrived at the SPCA of Titusville, FL in August of 2018. In that amount of time, it came to light that he loves water, to play ball, run, and gets along with everyone he meets. He's been taken on car rides and to parks on the Borrowed Buddy program multiple times. As of right now, social interaction with Wookie has been greatly reduced.
Wookie has plenty of love to give and deserves a great home, please help us save Wookie's life by signing this petition. He currently has weekly updates featured on the SPCA of Brevard Facebook Page. We encourage you to read more about this good boy. He will be wrongly euthanized if we do not stop Lacie Davis.
