Eliminate tolls on the Ohio River bridges in Louisville, Kentucky!

The Issue

The Abraham Lincoln bridge and Lewis & Clark bridge over the Ohio River in Louisville, Kentucky are part of the interstate network that is supposed to facilitate the efficient movement of people and goods. Since their construction, however, they've proven to be a financial impediment to local commerce, and the company that has been contracted to extort money from drivers has proven itself to be utterly incompetent and is causing drivers to overuse non-tolled bridges instead. The $2.6B spent on these toll bridges should be refinanced in a way that reduces impact on motorists and saves taxpayer funds through elimination of the toll system infrastructure and associated costs.
