Convince the Bankruptcy Courts To Give Dov Charney American Apparel Back!

The Issue

Dov Charney was fired as CEO of American Apparel through a calculated strategy by the Board of Directors of the Brand.

Due to greed and loopholes, the Board of Directors were trying to prevent Dov Charney from regaining control of the brand he created, through acquiring the majority shares of his business.  So they started a media fueled campaign against the CEO, and they used the brand imaging that created the brand against him. Leading to a "tried by the media" guilt, from crimes he has NEVER committed or been charged of.

After firing him from the CEO position, they had to find a way to get rid of his equity stake in the brand. He was a liability having as much power as he did, especially since it was his brand and 99 percent of his wealth.

This affects all shareholders in the public traded company, in the year he was fired the stock price went from $1.20 to $0.07. Losing millions of dollars for many people.

To further destroy his equity position, they forced the company into bankruptcy and are currently in bankruptcy court, which allows shareholders to appeal.

This past week Dov Charney came to the table with a 200 million dollar fund, ready to resolve the bankruptcy, and that will allow him to take back his company.

Support the visionary, the entrepreneur and show your support to a man truly passionate about saving his brand and making money for his shareholders.
