I wish I had good news to share but unfortunately this time around it’s murmurings of the same sounds. 

It’s been more then I year that I have tried to get something going to get Fibre in Breaunanda and it’s a continuous struggle.

No service provider will do any sort of work unless the Municipal Manager signs it off. I have had numerous confirmations from at least 3 SP that were ready to roll out Fibre but the buck stops with the Municipal Manager.

The petition has been delivered and it was said that a response will be delivered “soon”. That’s been almost 3 months ago. With a number of follow ups done with the Ward Councilor, who delivered the petition on our behalf, the responses has been very discouraging. Basically the Munisipality has stripped Ward Councilors from any sort of influential say and has rendered our their efforts to zero. Mogale City refuses to deal with any sort of representative standing on behalf of a community. 

I wish I could say we will have Fibre soon in the area but that would be a lie. 

So we continue to push for it until such time that we get the green light. Once that happens, we could have Fibre within a month or two after work begins.
