We all know the terrible situation the world is in. Jungles are being cut down and we just watch them like it is our least worry. You don't know the danger we are facing. When you think of jungles being cut down, we don't mean a local factory took down a few trees. We are talking about big numbers. According to National Geographic, Brazil and Indonesia have lost 46% of their forests and in the last 50 years, and 17% of the Amazon has decayed. Over half of the world's rain forests have been cut down due to human demand for land. Before there was advanced human activity, 14% of the world was covered in rain forests. Today, only 6% of the world is covered in rain forests. These losses are getting larger and larger. Brazil encourages the destruction of forests. Many different things will happen to our Earth without our forests:

• There won't be much oxygen left for us
• Many animals and species will die
• We won't have any more resources left
• Scientific research will slow down
• Higher flood rates
• There will be stronger storms
• Higher chances of death
• Higher temperatures
• More erosion

These all are the threats you are facing and that you can possibly help stop with the click of a few buttons.

Look underneath and you will see a list of methods that the government can plan and follow with very good results. Many of these methods have been untouched up to this day.

• Make it illegal to enter certain preserved forests
• Limit organizations or companies from cutting trees
• Find a way to stop floods from entering rain forests due to hydroelectric projects
• Make mining illegal or limit their use
• Limit expansion of croplands and farmlands
• Simply restrict certain areas unless used for scientific research to prevent its clearing
• Require paper producing groups to recycle
