On August 10, 2020, at approximately 10:30 pm, a tenant of  was taking her furbaby out to do its business like she had done hundreds of times before. Only this time, when she opened the door, a large black dog that resides in the unit lunged in the door, attacking and killing her dog. This dog was known to have aggressive tendencies but was on a long lead and the owner was 20 feet from the dog. 

The owner has been issued multiple fines and refuses to muzzle her dog as ordered by Bylaw enforcement until the matter is heard in court, which is held up because of Covid. She is defiant to the point she has threatened my puppy who is in training as a service dog and another tenant's dog that if we didn’t leave the lobby her dog ‘would kill our dogs’ going as far as to say ‘we were warned, so it would be our fault if they were killed.’

It is the intention of this petition to have both the offending dog and its owner removed from  and free the building from the fear we are all living in. It is like being held hostage by a tyrant.  God forbid if the next attack it makes is on a child.
