With COVID so many things (such as proms, homecomings, etc.) have been taken away or changed. At Branham/ (other cuhsd schools) we finally get the opportunity to have a somewhat normal high school year and to have a homecoming. However, the rule that only people within CUHSD can attend not only ruins the point of hoco for many students but doesn’t even lessen any Covid risks. Whether a students attends Leigh or Mitty the risks are just the same. Also, this rule is not consistent COVID guidelines. Anyone from any district can attend our football games (unmasked) and packed tightly in the stands. However, at a masked outdoor dance only students within our district can attend. Sign this petition to show Branham/ other CUHSD schools that we deserve to be able to have as normal as possible homecoming.
