Brandon Mitchner African American male age 22 was left to die in the Lansing Grand River by his business partner and two other boys on June 28, 2014. The other boys were Caucasian 

Brandon's death was ruled by the Coroner as a accidental Drowning. But Brandon's family believes their son/brother was thrown in the Lansing Grand River by the boys. Brandon was murdered.

Brandon was friends with the birthday boy. His business partner was just that, not his friend. Brandon was not friends with the other boys,, he didn't even hang out with them. Brandon didn't want to go to the party but the business partner kept texting him asking him to go. Eventually Brandon's girlfriend told him to go. Brandon and the boys started out on a party bus celebrating one of the boys 21st birthday. The bus took them to several bars. We Do not know the name of the bars, the name of the party bus and who even were there because the Lansing Police did not investigate.
At the bars several boys kept giving Brandon shots of liquor. Brandon tossed his cookies at two of the bars and stated he needed to go home. The party bus dropped everybody off where they got on the bus. Brandon tossed his cookies in front of one the boys who was not drinking do to being on probation. You could see Brandon’s car from where he stood. The boy turned him away from his car and started walking. The business partner followed him. Brandon's alcohol level was. 22 and this was 11:30 at night. Supposedly they walked almost 3 miles. The business partner stayed behind Brandon never saying a word. They passed all these streets that had a guardrail leading to the river.They ended up on the only street where the guardrail was taken down. Brandon and the business partner had a argument at the river.
The business partner states in the police report that he heard a thump and saw Brandon in the river and walked away to call an icab to go to another party. He never called 911 or seek any help. He left my son in the river.
He went to the party and said we lost one tonight and kept partying never telling anyone it was Brandon.
The police don't know what or where the party was or who was there. Why not because they didn't investigate. The police questioned the boys. End of story. Case closed. Please watch on YouTube Brandon Mitchner Down the River a mothers story by Traciy Curry-Reyes based solely on the police report. 

Later found out the business partner got a ride to the party. He did not call icab. The police says still not enough information. The next day a friend of the business partner made him get on Facebook stating Brandon was missing 12 hours later. He didn't want Brandon to be found.. The Lansing Police Department do not investigate they want the families to hire a private investigator and then give them the information.

I want the Attorney General Dana Nessel to assign my case to an outside investigator and investigate, interrogate and ask for a polygraph test even though it doesn't hold up in court.
