Bradley University’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion is in need of proper funding. This office gives voice to minority and historically underrepresented students. The Romeo B. Garrett center is old and outdated. It is currently not handicap accessible. This building also needs many modernizations to improve the office quality for their staff and students. This office holds many events for students throughout the year including both Black and Brown pride months raising awareness and educating our community on our struggles. This office also has many programs that students depend on including the scholars program, Association for Latin American Students (ALAS), Black Students Alliance (BSA), and many others. This is all ran by 3 staff members, Norris Chase, Eugenia Kyle, and Jhoanna Vega-Rocha. These 3 put in early mornings and late nights to make our campus a better place for minority students. Please consider giving them as well as Bradley’s minority students funding.
