In Idaho, Governor Brad Little has made a law allowing hunters and trappers to kill 90% of the wolf population. Why? Wolves keep attacking the farm animals that farmers own and it cost farmers 1,000 and 1,000 of dollars every year. If you are a dog lover or you have a dog, killing a wolf is like killing dog. To be deeper, big dogs are probably more ferocious than wolves. It's just that they are domesticated and wolves aren't. If you have heard stories like Little Red Riding Hood or The Three Little Pigs, the wolf is the bad guy, right? Well, people just did that because they think wolves are ferocious. But, they're not. If this law keeps going on, 90% percent of the wolves will be killed, no matter what. But, if it stops, wolves could thrive. And plus, why can't farmers just put tall fences around their farms? If 90% of wolves in Idaho go down, the food chain will crumble. That means they prey will go high and eat all the farmer's crops. Wolves and dogs are both in the canine family and that means we should take care of both. Wolf or dog, they should both be treated equally.
