Governor Brad Little needs to reverse SB 1211. This bill allows for the killing of 90% of Idaho's wolves, which number around 1500. This would mean that 1350 wolves could be killed in just Idaho. The goal for the bill is to kill 90% of the wolf population in Idaho. If this happens, it would have a negative impact on the environment. Wolves keep coyote and elk populations under control. If coyote populations were to get out of hand due to a lack of wolves, it would likely end up having a negative impact on Idaho's ranchers, because if coyotes get out of hand, they will kill more and more livestock. This bill is sickening and it needs to be reversed before it takes effect.
