I have been an avid viewer of 'Love Island Games' since its inception, and like many others, invested not just time but also emotions into the journey of the contestants. Watching these lovely people grow and navigate their relationships is supposed to be a joyful escape; yet, it was with growing frustration that I watched the latest season, 'Love Island Games 2'. The unjust practices that marred the contest left a sour taste as if fairness and integrity were being thrown to the wind.

It wasn't just me feeling this - hundreds, if not thousands, across various platforms have echoed similar sentiments. The recent events, where producers clearly manipulated the narrative, resulted in a competition structured to be impossible for select couples. A competition where it was 8 contestants against 2, emerging not from the contestants' own merits, but rather the producers' whim, is not aligned with the principles of fair play.

The setup was stacked against a couple who had proved themselves more than once, that they were deserving to be there, whereas other couples had not done anything but ride the coattails of their alliance. The way it was set up to allow 4 couples to gang up on the 1 couple who actually participated and won challenges against the others, made advancement in the game unduly and unfair. 
It was so outrageous and it diminished viewers' interest and faith in the show, with many opting to stop watching altogether, myself included. It's disappointing when a platform that has entertained us through joyful twists and heartfelt narratives diverges to scripting manufactured drama through deceitful competition setups.

Therefore, I urge you all to join me in imploring the show’s producers: Bring back the integrity to 'Love Island Games' and make the completions fair so the people deserving get a chance to win the money fairly. Adjust these practices and ensure a level playing field for all contestants. Encourage fair, competitive streaks based on contestants' own strengths, not producer-manipulated scenarios.
