Dragon Age is not just a game series; it's a beloved epic that has captured the hearts of millions. From Ferelden's vivid landscapes to the deeply immersive storytelling, Dragon Age has provided countless hours of enjoyment and an escape into a rich and fascinating world. However, despite its enormous popularity and the commercial success of all three games, Electronic Arts (EA) has consistently dismissed these achievements as nothing more than a fluke. It isn't a fucking fluke if those same people then turn around and buy all of the DLCs as well!

 The neglect from EA has been eloquently highlighted by David Gaider, lead writer and father to the franchise. He has pointed out that this attitude directly influenced the development and treatment of Dragon Age 4. At first, spending 10 years trying to drive it into a live service heist game that nobody wanted. Then, when they realized that people weren't going to go for it; they tell their team to pivot into a single player story without completely rebuilding the game. What happens then? It bombs and they blame the development team and claim that people just aren't into Dragon Age instead of holding themselves accountable for their own mishandling. I know,  typical corporate behavior. But does that mean that we should just let it happen? No. Fuck no. We are paying top dollar for these games so in what fucking world is that okay?!

 Despite being smash hits, the series was never given the respect and recognition it deserved from its publisher and that has never been more obvious than with Dragon Age The Veilguard.

 This is not just a matter of business; it's about respecting a community that has shown unwavering loyalty and passion for Dragon Age. Millions of players have invested emotionally and financially in the series, eagerly anticipating each new chapter and forming connections with its characters and stories.

 EA's reluctance to appreciate and nurture this gem in their portfolio is disheartening. As fans, we demand that EA either commit to delivering a proper and well-crafted Dragon Age 4, or that they hand the keys back to David Gaider, who has expressed his eagerness to reclaim the helm and direct the world that he created. 

Why should Mass Effect 5 make them millions (potentially billions) when they were perfectly willing to kill the Dragon Age franchise and blame the devs for their own greedy decisions?
