Boycott Home Depot!
The Issue
BOYCOTT HOME DEPOT!
Home Depots nationwide have become hunting grounds for federal immigration raids. As of May 2026, over 700 people have been kidnapped by immigration officers from their properties, yet Home Depot has done nothing.
Not only has Home Depot not condemned the violent attacks on its properties, it contracts with surveillance companies like Flock Safety to record vehicle information and share it with law enforcement. They have also installed noise machines at one of their stores in California to torture and drive away day laborers.
Enough is enough. The stakes have become too high to continue to wait for Home Depot to develop a conscience and take a stand against immigration officers. It is unlikely they will act without pressure, as the company itself has a long history of targeting and harassing Day Laborers and supporting Trump. Thus, we will go after the one thing we know they care about: their wallets! Time to boycott Home Depot today!
We, the undersigned, are calling for a coordinated boycott of Home Depot nationwide, until the following FIVE demands are met!
- Publicly denounce ICE violence, kidnappings, and disappearances of our community members from Home Depot parking lots and stores.
- Deny ALL federal immigration agencies access to its stores and parking lots for any staging, surveilling, violence, and disappearances; and take measures to protect all day laborers, customers, and employees on their premises.
- Allow day laborer centers at every Home Depot location, free from harassment or intimidation of day laborers and all people, regardless of status.
- Provide compensation to families negatively impacted by these anti-immigrant raids that have taken place on Home Depot premises for their pain and suffering.
- Remove sound torture machines and license plate surveilling technology from Home Depot properties. Delete the data and do not share or sell to anyone.
*These demands were created in collaboration with day laborers and the Institute of Popular Education of Southern California (IDEPSCA), which operates five of the seven city-sanctioned day laborer centers in Los Angeles, where Home Depot stores have been most impacted.
