Boycott Gun Interactive to resume the development of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre
The Issue
In the past, Gun Interactive has been known for lazily and slowly updating their games while showing a lack of care to their local community. Many of the player base of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre have witnessed this firsthand. Throughout the development of this game, throughout every bug and balancing issue that took Gun months to fix, through every few months to even years we had to wait for new content and overpriced DLC, we stayed loyal. Though the player base decreased largely, this is because of the mistakes the development team has made that I previously listed, and could be easily fixed with more effort rather than pouring all energy into an entirely new game, which is what Gun plans to do now. This game has built the specific Texas Chainsaw atmosphere and community within the horror genre that many agree cannot be easily replaced despite the spark of the game being dulled recently. After less than two years, Gun Interactive has decided to stop updating the game permanently despite promises of new content throughout the year. We still care about this game, and don’t want it to die, so this petition demands
- Gun Interactive resumes development of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre
- Gun Interactive provides content that the community wants
- If unable to continue development themselves, Gun Interactive sells The Texas Chain Saw Massacre to a company that can ensure it receives continuous updates, new content and maintenance
OTHERWISE
- We will not purchase nor interact with Gun Interactive’s next game
- The Texas Chain Saw Massacre will eventually become unplayable due to exploiters
