Boycott GoFundMe for supporting legal funds of Extremists

Boycott GoFundMe for supporting legal funds of Extremists
The Issue
As a dedicated member of the conservative community, I am appalled by the increasing hostility and disdain from the left. This is personal to me as a very important figure in our community was brutally murdered simply for engaging in debates and discussions— a tragedy that has shaken us to the core. What’s further distressing is that, following this tragic incident, two sisters shamelessly destroyed the peaceful memorial of Charlie Kirk at the Bentonville courthouse. Now, they have set up a GoFundMe campaign to cover their legal and financial burdens, and this is utterly reprehensible.
Supporting such actions through donations not only undermines justice but emboldens others to engage in similar destructive behaviors, knowing they might also be financially supported. The act of desecrating a memorial is not only disrespectful but an affront to the values and sentiments of many in our community who cherish the memory of Charlie and what he stood for.
Such an act blatantly violates more than ten of GoFundMe’s own terms of service. GoFundMe should not be a facilitator for spreading hate and encouraging unlawful activities. It is imperative that we, as a community, take a strong stand against platforms that support individuals who engage in such appalling and criminal acts.
I propose a collective pledge to stop using GoFundMe and consider alternative platforms like GiveSendGo and Fundly, which are more aligned with our values and do not support individuals who contravene basic decency and respect.
By refusing to support GoFundMe, we take a stand for integrity and accountability. Let us send a clear message that such conduct will not be condoned, and that we will not financially support those who destroy peace and harmony in our society.
Please join me in this pledge and help preserve the integrity and dignity of our community by signing this petition. Together, we can bring about change and ensure that justice and respect prevail.
