Gamestop is releasing a NFT marketplace soon. Everyone knows that NFTs are riddled with bad actors, ponzi schemes, and are in general scams. Gamestop is trying to profit off scamming its customers with NFTs in games. The addition of NFTs into games would further monetize and incentivize even more microtransactions. Gamestop is an evil company that treats it's retail employees like garbage, and this NFT thing should be the nail in the coffin.
