I am a young person part of the LGBT community. Chick-fil-A is one of the biggest companies in America, supporting people trying to tear down that community. Chick-fil-A has been funding churches that openly are anti-LGBTQ for almost 20 years now. The charitable endeavor of Chick-fil-A, The Winshape Foundation, founder S. Truett Cathy, has stated that it would not allow same-sex couples to participate in their marriage retreats. Winshape also contributed grants to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Exodus International, an organization noted for supporting ex-gay conversion therapy. Chick-fil-A gave the Winshape company over $8 million in 2010. Equality Matters, a LGBT watchdog group, has also reported Winshape to other organizations considered to be anti-LGBTQ, including $2 million in 2009, $1.9 million in 2010 and a total of $5 million since 2003. We cannot stand for this malicious company to tear us down. If we don't go to Chick-fil-A, they'll have less money to fund to the churches.
