Capel Shire owns the Boyanup saleyards and leases them for a pittance to an Elders/Nutrien consortium, which makes millions out of them, while refusing to spend money to keep them up to modern standards.

They are now clearly the worst cattle saleyards in WA with animals dropping dead there regularly during sale days.

Ask Capel Shire councillors to put animal welfare first and refuse to renew the lease until the companies carry out the upgrades needed, to provide shade, non-slip flooring and potable water supply to the yards
