The Churchill Plan is currently being discussed and considered at the national level, and will remove scouting programs for 18-21-year-olds.

If this plan is implemented, Venturing will be for ages 14-18, and Sea Scouts will be removed and combined with Exploring to create a separate aquatic program.

Combining these programs, and cutting the age to 18, will limit mentors, camp and high adventure staff volunteers, and hurt our program. Not a single youth voice has taken part in this discussion, but we want to change that.
