The BSA Blue Ridge Council has notified the Scouting Units of District 6 & 20. Basically Anderson County of SC. That the annual Fall Campout and Spring Campout at Saddlers Creek is no longer approved and that the unit can only go to Camp Old Indian over 1.5 hours drive from where we live. Also cost will be considerably more per scouters. What we ask is you sign this petition to let the Council know that a workable solution is required to allow these 2 great annual campouts in its current format and location. Along with this, let it be known until this is agreed to you will boycott all sales of BSA popcorn, purchase of BSA popcorn, and Friends of Svcouting Fundraiser campaigns.
