Boy Scouts of America has taught many boys life skills for the future to come. With recent changes, girls are finally allowed to join and get the experience themselves, BUT the BSA is still separating our youth into boy troops and girl troops.

As an American going to a German school, I barely had the chance to go to Camp Freedom. My friends brother was part of the Pfadfinder, and invited us to the International Scout Camp in Westernohe, Germany. While there I got to experience a different side of scouting, how both boys and girls can work together as a team.

Scouting is meant to teach skills to be used later on in life, so why not teach them young how to properly apply the skills with or on the opposite sex. The only time any of us got training like that, is in the military and any first responders (also many Crews or Posts are coed so why not the troops) other then that we only work together at our jobs coed, so why not let our youth learn beforehand.

Let's make a change, make Scouting coed and become Scouts Of America.
